Handmade scarves can make amazing gifts, and there’s no need to be the
best lace knitter in the world, there are plenty of ways to spruce up a
simple strip, triangle or square of fabric.
You can easily make a fun fur or a boa scarf by knitting, crochet or weaving, but they’re not the only ways – no way. In no time you’ll be inspired to come up with your own personalized ways of making special custom scarves for your friends and family, or even for sale!
Oh, and don’t dismiss felting either – it’s the simplest way by far of making a piece of fabric. All you need is some determination and strong arms! Learn the basics of wet and needle felting. You can maybe even try some nuno felting if you’re lucky!
